Seasonal Customer Service & Sales for 1-800-Flowers

1-800 Flowers is hiring now for the upcoming holiday season with positions starting each week from mid-September through mid-December. All positions will be part-time and move to full-time during the week before and the week of Christmas. Training is full-time for approximately one week, then Consultants go to part-time schedules as we prepare for the peak weeks. There are a variety of work schedules available from early mornings to late nights.
 
Consultants hired for the season will be supporting one of the following brands: 1-800 Flowers, The Popcorn Factory, Cheryl's Cookies, Fannie May Chocolates, or Harry and David.
 
*This position is only available in the United States (48 contiguous).*
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers with exceptional service by following very specific policies and procedures 
  • Assist customers in selecting products and gifts as well as offering add-ons and upselling
  • Process orders using the internal computer tools and applications
  • Verify and validate all information provided by the customer prior to order submission
  • Communicate effectively with customers and act as an advocate on the customers behalf to uphold the company’s Product Guarantee Policy
  • Accurately document all actions taken when working within a customer account
  • Process order cancellations and adjustments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Professionally respond to incoming and outgoing messages on behalf of 1800Flowers.com
  • Consistently achieve key performance indicators (KPI) and performance standards as defined by management
  • Adhere to coaching and development opportunities provided by managers
  • Participate in ongoing coaching and training sessions to ensure your success in the position
Qualifications:
 
Successful candidates will meet the following:
  • Own a PC with a reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Ability to type 20-25 words per minute
  • Prior contact center experience (strongly preferred)
  • Previous work at home experience (preferred)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fundamental math skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales process
  • Motivation and dependability
  • Available to work extended shifts during peak holiday weeks

Harry and David has entrusted Sutherland CloudSource to manage the Work at Home program of their business. We are committed to providing the highest level of service to customers of this outstanding company.
 
We are hiring now for the upcoming holiday season with positions starting each week from mid-October through mid-December. All positions will be part-time and move to full-time during the week before and the week of Christmas. Training is full-time for approximately 4 days, then Consultants go to part-time schedules as we prepare for the peak weeks. There are a variety of work schedules available, yet you must be available to work any scheduled shift during the Hours of Operation - 8am -11pm ET.

Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming orders and catalog requests. Answer customer questions regarding products and services. Update customer information and preferences.
  • Solicit sales of new or additional services or products.
  • Offer appropriate sales options and recognize cross sell opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and enhance customer relationship.
  • Verify all order information with the customer to ensure accuracy.
  • Ask questions and educate customers with a strong ability to listen, sell additional products, and overcome objections.
  • Processes transactions; accurately recording and updating actions and outcomes; complete all customer follow-up work.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and promotions.
  • Transfer customer contacts to appropriate departments based on customer needs.
  • Deliver service in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with established procedures and goals.
  • Participate in activities and demonstrate behaviors to team members to ensure alignment with Company principles and department strategies.
  • Achieve set business line goals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

You will work side by side with each of our Divas to create beautiful and eye-catching videos and photographs that will be shared with our thousands of readers, followers, and subscribers. We only showcase the best of the best, and we’re looking for people who are nothing short of AMAZING!
For PHOTOGRAPHERS:The Divas will be taking their own photos of the printables to feature within their posts, but once the images are taken, we send the raw files to our photographers for editing! Below you will find examples of images edited by some of our photographers, and what we love about these images is how BRIGHT, clean, and eye-catching they are!
For VIDEOGRAPHERS:
When featuring some of our new printables, we also love including ADORABLE, bright, and well-composed videos showing hands-on application of the printables in action!

  • STEP #3) We will review all of the applicants who completed the mini-project & narrow it down to our top four favorites. We’ll then set up and conduct an interview with each of our top four. Once the interviews are completed, we’ll make our decision.
