Work from Home for Verizon

What you’ll be doing...
This requisition will be for a class on Sunday, September 9th 2018.
Training will be split into two sections as follows:
Week 1 - 5 will be: Sunday through Thursday from 10am- 7pm (Off days: Friday and Saturday)
Week 6-12 will be: Sunday through Thursday from: 9am - 1pm & 6pm - 10pm CST
(Off days: Friday and Saturday)

As a Customer Service Representative, or as we like to say, Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be a problem-solver, salesperson, troubleshooter, billing expert and more – all while working remotely from the convenience of your home office within commuting distance of 600 Hidden Ridge Irving, Texas Call Center. And you’ll also be a hero when you solve our customers’ challenges.

What we’re looking for...
You are positive and professional with a focus on solving problems and doing whatever it takes to make a difference to every customer every time. You relate well to all kinds of people, listen attentively, and can hone in on the most important issues. You explain things easily, in ways that people can understand. You are tech-savvy and know how to use that knowledge to find solutions while focusing on one customer at a time.
You’ll need to have:
  • Associate’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • The ability to report to the Irving call center within a 90 minute commutable distance if required by the business during one of your scheduled shifts.
  • Flexibility to work split shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.
At-home resources you need to have which meet the following requirements:
  • Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem and capable of at least 6 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
  • Dedicated quiet, private workspace with a chair and desk.
    Even better if you have:
  • Customer service experience, of course, and if you’ve handled billing and equipment questions, that’s a big plus.
  • Experience solving customer’s problems in a work-from-home environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage in a remote work environment including setup of company-provided computer equipment and ongoing proactive, skilled and effective management of your home Internet network and connections.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, flexibility, time management, resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively with leaders and team, all from a remote work environment.

Airline Reservations Crew- Salt Lake City Ut

Position Summary
The Reservations Crew is responsible for providing excellent customer service over the phone. The Reservations Crew must meet the Customer’s needs through prompt responses to Customer inquiries and requests.  The Reservations Crew must possess effective problem solving skills must consistently provide excellent customer service and must be willing and able to contribute to the development of a growing team environment.  After initial training has been successfully completed Crewmembers will take reservations from home.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Answer continuous calls via telephone regarding general information about airline travel on JetBlue Airways
  • Provide the JetBlue experience to every Customer every time
  • Perform activities including viewing and sitting in front of a computer terminal navigate and toggle between multiple screens talk and type at the same time and navigating menus and screens on a computer terminal 
  • Sell ancillary products from incoming calls
  • Resolve general customer service concerns through effective customer service techniques
  • Ability to send and receive email correspondence
  • Ability to initiate searches for miscellaneous travel-related information on the Internet
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience
  • Able to type twenty five (25) words per minute
  • Must pass an assessment which demonstrates basic computer typing and customer service skills 
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook) and Internet Explorer
  • Flexible and able to work at any time including nights weekends and holidays
  • Reside in the designated calling area
  • Provide one telephone line and a high-speed internet connection (minimum 256K connection speed)
  • Provide a safe and professional office-work environment free from background noise and distraction
  • Able to work from the Support Center if experiencing technical difficulties at home
  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
