Essential job duties include:
- Answers incoming wats lines and accurately takes all order information. Answers questions regarding Omaha Steaks products and services or directs customer calls as needed.
- Recommends add-ons/upgrades to every customer who places an order. Uses established sales techniques to maximize every order and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Strive to increase the dollar value of each order.
- Performs other duties and special projects as required. Performs clerical support duties to Inbound Department as needed.
- Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Keyboard and mouse proficiency.
- Understanding of Internet.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Skill in typing and spelling with accuracy
Must have the following:
- Minimum computer requirements
- Processor: Intel i3 2.0 GHZ or greater, or equivalent (based on published benchmark results)
- Memory: 4.0 GB or higher
- Operating System: Windows 7 or higher
- USB 2.0
- Sound card
- Computer and virus protection
- Must configure computer system in accordance with Microsoft's recommendations as outlined on their Protect Your PC website.
- Internet Connection
- The high speed internet connection should be via a cable modem connected to the internet.
- Proof of suitable connection speed.
- This is a temporary position. Please plan to work early-September through the end of December.
- We have a variety of schedules available. Please plan to work 16 to 40 hours per week based on your preference. A Saturday or Sunday shift is required.
