In my exploration into frugal living, I have decided to start my own garden! With climbing produce prices and kids who devour absurd amounts of fruits and veggies, it was a logical decision. So far I have gotten all of my herbs growing-and they are doing great! I plan to plant some fruit trees this week. I've also started onions, and tomatoes! I'm pleased with the Upsy Downsy format that allows me to grow cherry tomatoes on top and big red tomatoes on the bottom-since we use so many of both. I have a backyard, but limited space between the kids play areas & puppy so love that you can hang this anywhere outside! It makes gardening possible for those in apartments/condos/rental houses, or folks like me who just don't have the space. I'm so pleased to share an Upsy Downsy with a VJ4M blog follower.
